Hey, it’s Cory. I’ve been working on some long-form stories regarding Oakwood Estates. It’s some heavy stuff, but also some very beautiful stuff. I am also working a full-time job and use my downtime and lunch hours to conduct interviews that could greatly affect the future of our community. We’re also booking ahead for the next wave of podcast episodes, so expect to see some better and more in-depth conversations in the near future.

Our Substack has been popping off. We’ve been scooping other news outlets. It’d be cool if it was for good shit, but it’s been the murder of a young girl with a suspect who is practically a child himself. In the wake of that tragedy, we are making a concentrated effort to get to know underserved communities frustrated with the neglect they face until tragedy strikes. They want to be known for more than their worst moments, and I’m here to ensure that is the case for them.

This takes up a lot of time, and we want to provide news that is free and accessible to all without being beholden to advertisers. We have merch and a Patreon coming soon, but, in the meantime, consider supporting us by being a paid subscriber to our Substack. Only paid subscribers get access to “Sunken Secrets,” which is a look at some of the more paranormal and esoteric parts of our history and culture. Our regular news will be free, but this weirdo shit costs extra.
